Terms and conditions

1. Scope and seller

These terms apply to all orders in the Purrlight online shop. They are also the terms of use for the customer account and the review function. The seller and your contract partner is: Kacper Kostecki, Purrlight, Bärenhof 20, Garbsen, Phone: +4917646652217, Email: Purrlightshop@gmail.com.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed profession (§ 13 BGB, German Civil Code).

2. Contract formation

Showing products in the shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

By clicking the order button (“Jetzt zahlungspflichtig bestellen” or its equivalent in your language, meaning “order now with obligation to pay”) you make a binding offer to enter into a purchase contract. We accept it with an order confirmation email, which concludes the contract (§§ 145 ff. BGB). If we do not accept an order that has already been paid, we refund it without delay.

Steps and correcting entries

You put items in the bag, enter your delivery details and choose payment by PayPal or bank transfer. Before you click the order button you see an overview of all items, prices and shipping costs. Until then you can change your entries in the form and the bag at any time or cancel the process.

Contract text and language

You receive the contract details with the order confirmation email. You can view and save these terms and the withdrawal information on this website at any time. The contract is concluded in German. Translations into other languages are for your information.

3. Prices

All prices are final prices in euros. As a small business under § 19 UStG we neither charge nor show VAT. Shipping costs are shown in the bag and before you place the order.

4. Payment

Payment is by PayPal or bank transfer. PayPal's terms also apply to payments by PayPal.

For payment by bank transfer, the following applies instead of section 2: after your order we receive your offer and send you our bank details. This is not yet an acceptance. The contract is only concluded by the order confirmation by email, which we send once the payment has arrived. Please pay within 7 days. After that you are no longer bound by your offer and we may cancel the order. The delivery time starts when the payment arrives. Refunds are made by bank transfer.

5. Delivery

We deliver only within the European Union. The goods are printed after your order by our partner Printful and shipped directly to you from a fulfilment centre in the EU (Latvia or Spain).

Delivery takes 7 to 14 working days (Werktage) from conclusion of the contract. If an order contains several items, they may arrive separately.

6. Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid for in full.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Details are in the withdrawal information. You can also withdraw online using the Withdraw from contract button.

Our products are standard catalogue items and not personalised. The exclusion under § 312g(2) no. 1 BGB therefore does not apply, even though the goods are printed only after your order.

8. Liability for defects

The statutory liability for defects applies (§§ 434 ff. BGB). Claims for defects in new goods become time-barred two years after delivery (§ 438(1) no. 3 BGB). Please report defects to Purrlightshop@gmail.com; no particular contact route is a condition of your rights.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, graphics and artwork in this shop and on our products are the seller's intellectual property. A purchase gives you ownership of the item delivered, but no rights in the design. Copying, reprinting or commercially using the designs is not allowed without our written agreement. Uses permitted by law and the resale of the item you bought are not affected.

10. Customer account

Please give correct details and keep your login details secret. You can delete your account at any time. What stays stored afterwards is explained in the privacy policy.

11. Reviews and uploaded photos

We publish a review only if the order number and email address match a real order of the reviewed product. We do not pay for reviews.

You keep your rights. You grant us the non-exclusive, free right to show your display name, your review and up to two photos publicly on this website until the review is deleted.

By uploading, you confirm that you hold the rights to the photos and that any people shown have agreed. Unlawful, offensive or misleading content, advertising and content that infringes third-party rights are not allowed.

We may remove such content. We tell you about the removal and the reasons by email, and you can object at Purrlightshop@gmail.com. You can report unlawful content to us at any time at Purrlightshop@gmail.com, stating where it is and why; we check reported content case by case.

You can delete your review with its photos using the link in our email. Individual photos cannot be removed separately.

12. Tips

After an order you can voluntarily pay us a tip through PayPal. This is a voluntary payment to a commercial business and not a donation. We issue no donation receipt for it, and it is not tax-deductible as a donation. You receive nothing in return, and your order is not affected. Mandatory statutory rights are not affected.

13. Discount codes

Discount codes are voluntary promotions and are not sold. The thank-you code from the parcel gives 10% off the items; shipping stays unchanged. The welcome code gives 10% off the items and half the shipping cost.

Each code can be redeemed once. Only one code applies per order, and codes cannot be combined. There is no minimum order value. Codes are valid for 12 months from issue; the exact date is stated with the code. Codes cannot be paid out in cash. Enter the code at checkout; it cannot be applied afterwards.

If you withdraw, we refund the amount actually paid. A code redeemed on that order does not become valid again. A thank-you code from a withdrawn order stays valid until its expiry date.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you have your habitual residence (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation).

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
